The head liner on one of my t-tops is coming off. How do I fix this? I see the plastic velcro-like connecters, but they have disconnected from the top itself. So besides just glueing the liner back down, what is the best way to fix these?
There should be two fasteners that hold that top in place too. They were there on my '76. I had to gently pull back the weatherstrip to see them though.
Ya, I see the fasteners, but they have disconnected from the top itself. To reiterate...Fastener A (on the liner) connects with faster B (on the t-top). My situation is A and B are connected but only A is still attached to where it was anchored. Make sense?
On my 71, the velcro fasteners are riveted to the top. If they came loose, you may need to patch the fiberglass in that area, then re-drill some new holes to rivet them back on? Perhaps a very strong adhesive would hold them, but I`d think the rivets would be better.
