paint is done
I went down across the boarder two weeks ago to see how the vette is coming and found it in its second coat of primer with the front end sanded. Heriberto said after the back was sanded they'ed shoot it again, final sand and seal. Got the call today that the car is finished and buffed out . . . so Friday I'll head over the line with my car buddy and drive it home. Yeah baby! Ontario Orange Firemist!

this paint job is really sweet. i am over the moon. $1800 and worth 3 to 4 times that. quite a story to tell once i've got the time about trying to get it home in one piece.

Looks like they did a really nice job. What kind of paint did they use? I am a PPG fan, but they no longer carry a formula for Ontario orange, at least not in base or concept single stage. They have a replacement that is very close though.
