Would you ever put a car seat in a C3? I figure you have to start them young if you're going to indoctrinate them into the culture.

I have taken my 2yo going on 3 out in the Car Seat, he loves the car, every time we go out for ride he stops at the vette 1st and climbs up on the side pipe to open the door, but I can't take the car to wal mart or places like that, too afraid of the a-holes that would damage the car. He likes the ridgeline too. He gets under the car and gets his hands dirty

of course. Both of mine rode in my 62 corvair on short trips. The corvette feels quite a bit safer.

Yes. Waited for just the right moment to take my almost a year old son (now 18!) for a ride in my 74. Picked him up after his first overnight visit with Grandma. Thought he would get a big kick out of being in a convertible.
He promptly fell asleep.

My backup copilot will be 5 in October. Our law in Iowa requires a carseat. He likes it best with the T-tops out. The grin on his face is priceless!

I've put a booster seat in mine for my 6 and my 8 year old. If it is strapped in properly it is safe. Just keep it under 100...

I took the boys out in the '66 when they were old enough to be out of a car seat. But then again, I took them on the Electraglide when they were two. My wife still brings that up after all these years.
