Friday night at the bellmore train station.beautiful evening, cars and friendly people made for a great night out.last photos of a Studebaker/Packard sports car that was considered hot for it's time.enjoy! the 502 was in the ss.
sweet76 none of the cars pictured are mine, unfortunately. my one photo with a friend behind the wheel, came in out of focus.here it is anyway.hard to say how many cars show up but I waited ,idling, for 20 minutes before I got in.big block dave might know.dave come in dave.
Any idea who did the paint work on the silver vette (pics 1 & 2)? I'm up in Westchester County and once I'm through all the mechanicals (doing a full resto of my '74), I'm going to start my painter search.
racerx1 I just meet this guy for the first time.his name was frank and he said he is not a forum member.nice paint for sure but I did not ask him about where he got it done.
Bill, I was there as well although didn't bring a car either. Good turnout and thanks for the pics. My favorite car was that blue GT 350 Mustang race car. Lots of nice cars. We should all meet up and say hello one of these days.
Friday night at a train station in NY? I can't believe there were enough parking spaces. Greg looking cars - those Caddies had an iconic look back in the day! Thanks for sharing.
thanks sweet76 but if you get close to the rear drivers fender and roof support you see some cracking paint, rest is ok.hope to meet you also 540 vette and faster rat.69ttop502 yes great show and looking forward to meeting you at a local show.i only asked the vette owners if they were forum members.(found none oddly).cor66vette was the reason for a possible fire hazard or that they might fall on someone's hands?i wonder.the commuters are not that happy cause it takes them a while to get out.you know they are all in a hurry and not all are car people.lupigiato I had to wait idling for 20 minutes for a spot to open up and the last two attempts I got shut out.the caddy's are unreal, like rolling living rooms.beautiful and sleek even though they are so huge.

As for how many cars show up, I really could only guess, and say its probably about 200 or so cars that come and go over the course of the evening? Maybe next time I'll ask the folks at the "gate" since Im sure they have a pretty good idea. Who knows maybe Im way off...all I know is that the place is a huge draw and the place is always filled.
Many folks get there early and stay a while, and some cars show up much later, and in between some people probably come and go.
Hopefully I can get my car back together before the season winds down, but I'll still show up on foot to meet with some of you fellas.
