Well trailing arm wasn't my only problem!!!
Well I have a 71 convert. and the blame car started making a thump,thump,thump as you drive along and you can hear it only if you lean your head back kind of toward the back between the seats as you roll along. It seems to only happen once the car has warmed up and seems to make the thumping sound in time with the rotation of the wheels if that makes sense. Well I jacked up the car and the passenger side rear wheel had a good bit of movement from twelve and six and also from 3 and 9 so I pulled the trailing arm and sent to have rebuilt. Got it back put in on and the blame sound is still there. Now I thinking it may be that the differential needs fluid change if I'm lucky. Just thought I would tell my story to somebody.
