What is the spline size on the input of the steering box?
Thanks for the reply cor66vette, that write up had a lot of good information.
After a lot of searching I found a post by Jim Shea that stated early steering boxes have a 3/4-36 spline, and later boxes have a 3/4-30 spline with a flat machined on one side.

Reason: Posted answer to my question
From late 1969 thru 1982 the steering gear input shaft spline was 0.75inch diameter with calculated 36 splines. There was actually a machined flat on the shaft so a number of actual splines were machined away.
