Default Paging Lars re Colorado Floods

I hope you are safe my old friend. The news is pretty grim from that State. Many homes lost and some lives. The pics show wide-spread damage; some 17,500 houses swept away. Hope you are OK!

I've been watching it on the news and Lars is just on the South-East corner of the mess, basically looks almost like on his doorstep.
Haven't seen any activity from him in the last bit, hopefully he strapped some rockets on the viking lounge and headed for higher ground in time.

I suspect he prolly reengineered a Q-jet on to a 250HP mercrusier. Heres hoping all is well!

Unfortunately an expert rebuild on a Q-Jet cannot solve all problems. But I admire your humor!

Hope so, I don't know much about that area just that Bolder and Lafayette are pretty close. The news was saying several streets in Lafayette were closed.
Map was showing basically Lafayette on the south east corner of their affected zone with most of the markers in Bolder. One way or another sounds like it's starting to improve slightly

I emailed him to see if all was ok and got this response.
There is no flooding here in the North Denver Metro area, and the workshop, the beer, the whiskey, and all the Vettes and GTOs are secure and safe.

Good to read that Lars was not targeted by these raging waters. I have friends who have been touched and have not heard of anyone losing their homes. I myself live outside the flood plain in our town, which took a major hit.

One good friend in Longmont had his Corvette shop swamped with mud. I read that last monday, he and others shoveled mud for hours off the floor. The building has yet to be assessed for any structural damge but from what I read, everyone is safe. Haven't heard if any cars were affected and the building is a concern.

It's a mess around here and the roadways suffered a lot of water damage. It will be tough going for a while. I just hope all our affected Corvette friends are all ok.

Thanks Paul, for checking on Lars and crew.
