73 hood interchange
what year hoods will bolt directly to a 73. not for stock appearance.
looking for a bigger cowl or LT1 or L88 hood.
I see references to 73-76, 77-82, 73-82, 73-75, and everything inbetween ???

Nothing stock LT-1 or L-88 will bolt up to a 73 or later car. If you want LT-1/BB for your 73, you will have to purchase an aftermarket hood.

Hood latch hardware is different. You want an aftermarket 73 and later hood using 73 latch hardware.

Size wise, yes, but you would not want an 82 crossfire hood on your 73.

sure I would, that a 66 mustang tail lights, and a big assed CB antanee!
would wondering what might fit, so if someone had a an L88 on their 82, then I know I could use it on my 73.

That tells me you do not know about the stock underhood ducting on an 82 crossfire hood.

o.k. , so now I am learning that a 82 won't work, unless it after market with out the stock under pinings.
maybe , it'd be better to save up and just buy a new hood.
