Default Kwiklift question

I am hoping those of you who have Kwiklifts can share a photo or two as to how you removed all 4 wheels while on the lift?

I am getting ready to replace the front and rear suspension and don't quite see how to do it?

You need the cross bars and bottle jacks to lift the car off the ramps. Then you can remove the tires and start taking things apart.

Wish you were closer so I could help out. It's pretty easy to do.

I relocated a few years ago from Redwood Shores otherwise we would have been around the corner from each other!

Where are you placing the bars/jacks? Did you use a certain size of bar ?

Any chance of a photo?

Thanks!

I have a lightweight aluminum jack- short base that I can pick up and set on the ramps of the Kwik Lift. Jack the car, short jackstand under the frame and set the car on the stand. I rebuilt both front and rear suspension with the car setting on jackstands on the lift. The bridge is handy for a bottle jack if I need to jack the engine or trans a little bit. Mostly the bridge seem to be in the way. And I have 2 of them thinking that I'd need them to lift the car. Silly me.

I didn't buy one specifically because of that you are finding.

If you look at the kwik-lift page they sell the Bridge for $125.00

The also have some picture here, http://kwik-lift.com/uses.html

TimAT , where did you purchase your jack stands and bottle jack?

I do have one center bridge but where the bridge sits there are no jack points? I envisioned using a 3" x 3" square metal bar with bottle jacks lifting from the center bridge ( as described in an earlier response) but that implies I need to purchase another center lift bridge to lift the back?

Thanks for all the replies!
