Got my wife a 1979 corvette project. Needs a lot work, but does run and drive. I just changed all the fluids. I have lots of questions so I will be spending a lot of time using the search button.
I am a mustang guy and just finished a 1970 mach 1 and have another one in progress.
Well if your experience is anything like mine you will end up loving the Vette more than you ever thought possible. Enjoy and have fun bringing her back to mint status!

I had a 70 Mach 1 years ago, a couple 69 Mach1's as well. Looks like a shaker hood. Original to the car? 351C or 428? Hood lock downs still there? I can't tell from the photo. Like the rear window shades, a rather rare option.
It is a special car, fully optioned from the factory. Shaker, A/C, PB, rear spoiler, rear slats, PS...etc and its acapulco blue with white interior. So needless to say it is the only one like it every made.
Thanks!
