Default 1974 Console/Dash/Trim Question

Have a question for the pro's. My 74 Stingray has what's called "Medium Saddle interior. The dash, trim panels, console all have a cool looking 2 tone look. Is this factory? I'm definitely keeping it, as I dig the unique look. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Same as my 74. I have tried to clean it, thinking it was embedded dirt, but it does not come off so it must have been that way from the factory.

Yep! I've been thinking about how to replicate that finish, as SEM Colorcoat is a solid color. I would imagine a thin darker brown wash that would dry out in the grain. The paint may have to be an enamel in my case, as I've re-dyed quite a few pieces, and when I wipe the excess brown off with turps, I don't want the lighter base coat to come with it! But for the time being, I'm happy with what I have.
