Fender/Side emblems for my 79 C3
I just want to have your opinion: I am missing both Fender/Side emblems for my 79 C3.
2 Questions:
1-Is it possible to install the "Stingray" fender emblems on my 79?
2-If it is possible to install, Should I do it? or will it look "not" original.
Note: I really prefer the "Stingray" emblems over the crossed flag emblems.
Here are pics of my newly painted 79 C3.

79s did not have Stingray fender scripts. Some have crossed flags fender emblems. IIRC, others may not have had any fender emblems.
Do you have emblem mounting holes in the fenders?

On my '77 the crossed flag emblem on the gas cap door is the same as the flags on the fender. Fender emblems are just stuck on with tape. The gas cap door emblem has threaded lugs held on with speed nuts. The holes in your fender look to be stock for a '79. Take the one from your gas door and see if the holes line up. mike...
