pedec send the engine to Vortecpro Performance. Mark Jones can get you 700hp by porting the heads and intake and installing a 496 stroker kit. If that is more power than needed they have a 468 kit also. The engine will look identical to what it appears now. A vortecpro 496 crate motor is $7k if you want to box the original.

I do not want 700hp but more like 475-525hp with roller cams for dependability nothing crazy. Still want car to sound and drive like stock just a little better and want to keep factory 427 in car. I live in Canada so driving season is short and car will not get that many miles a year and me being a 44 year old adult motor will be not driven even close to the way it was designed to take it. Keeping 3.08 in rear end to keep highway rpm down but with more hp will still pull nice.
