Default C3 Cover

I'm in the market for a new cover for my 69 Vette w/2 mirrors. I have owned a Wolfe blue cover for over 20 years but it deteriorated to the point that blue fiber remains on my car every time I remove it. It was a great cover but time to change. Car is always garaged and only driven in the summer. Saw this online: Ironshield custom 2 mirror heavy duty leatherette with fleece underlining. Model # 1RTINK6S8.

Anyone have any experience with the cover or company? I know it is an outdoor cover but I want soething good.

Thanks

I still have a cotton blend , it's heavy tan cover from 1981 from California Covers.....it has been awesome , I used it for a ton of things, now it's not a car cover anymore , but I could never wear it out

So.......I bought a California covers gray light weight weave for my Z28 ....it's a great breathable cover and very well made.

Zip productss advertised the same material Ina wolf cover, so I bought one for my vette , thinking it would be as good as the CA Cover...NOT!... and right off the bat just feeling the material , supposed the same .....was definelty. NOT the same quality. Fabrique......the Zip wolf was like 75 dollars cheaper ......

I really have never seen a cover as good as the Cailfornia Covers ...they are expensive ,but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into both the California and Noah covers.

I've owned a few California Car Covers for indoor use and they are excellent.

I was using an outdoor cover indoors and it was heavy and a pita to use.my son bought me a max tech indoor cover a few years ago and it has been great so far in every respect.(nice and light).my son is like his dad and is very frugal so it cannot be that expensive.good luck on whatever you decide.

From my experience, I would recommend a covercraft "Form-fit" cover. I ordered one for my 70 Chevelle from Griot's garage and will soon order one for the 71 Corvette as well. I own a California Dustop cover for the Chevelle and it went into the basement after buying the form-fit cover. The Dustop is nice as far as car covers go but is not nearly as soft as the cover-craft cover. The inside of the form-fit cover is extremely soft and the fact that the cover can not flap around on the car if a breeze blows through the shop is also important to me.

Either way, the covers mentioned above are all high quality.

I was about to suggest them (sorry I had to remove your link, George- rules are rules)... I was looking for a nice, soft fitted indoor cover for my '69 after the new black paint and I love mine.
