Hood Height

I have a '79, and am thinking about an engine/trans. swap. The engine I am considering is several inches higher because of a high rise intake. So, my first step is to find a higher hood. I would like to know how much higher a Stinger hood is. I can't find any where to get these diminutions. I know, from previous experience, you guys are very savvy about these things. Any help is appreciated........Jon

Who makes the Stinger hood you want? They should be able to tell you the over stock clearance.

thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for. unfortunately my idea of a stinger hood won't be high enough. anyway, thanks again
