Spent the morning plowing this mess, and a pic of the Vette--currently scraping paint and installing line lock. Nothing better to do on a Winter day than fire up the wood stove and work on the Vette....
Having a hell of a time getting motivated here too!
I have a few things i'd like to get done on the Vette and just can't get motivated at all.
Winter sucks.
Had some u joint/rear issues back in August that spiraled into alot of "while Im at it". Kept hitting snags along the way, and still not done yet. Since then Ive had to pull the snowblower out of the shed and have it ready to go.

My 70 looks about the same. However, I did use Play Doh to remove the pilot bushing, then removed the flywheel today
Looks like Bairs is doing your trailing arms. (boxes)
It is amazing how a small project results in and entire rear suspension restore, transmission rebuild, clutch replacement, and the list goes on. I had a little vibration from the rear and through the drivetrain.
It is really tough getting motivated in this crappy weather.
Mine is the same way. I lifted the body put it back down. Poured a new foundation for garage. The winter came I just plowed out almost 12 inches of snow today. I guess in the spring oI will frame the garage, wire it, insulated and sheetrock it, build a workbench and shelving. Install a nice compressor. Maybe by next fall I can start truly working on the car again but I am still motivated good luck to all and happy and safe holidays

I hear ya on small projects snowballing on these cars! Maybe you and me both will have our cars rolling out under their own power before the year ends!
Damn, I had to use the sunblock and put the top up on my vert
yesterday the sun was so bright and hot.
Last club run for the year yesterday, headin to Sydney for Christmas.

Winters are when I get the big stuff done. There's no track events for about five months and I can tear into the big stuff on the car. In the summer I can't have the car apart very long or I miss out on track time.
Pretty damn cold here in Panama City Beach, FL this morning. 36 when I woke up but getting up to 67 and sunny. Perfect day to pop the tops and do some errands.
