I have 5 ralley wheels with a date code of K1 8
What does that translate to. They are 15 x 8

The k stands for Kelsey
The 1 stands for manufacturing plant (all corvettes were 1)
The 8 is the year..

You should have another number after the k-1-8. The next number will be the month.

Those all should be on one side of the valve stem. On the other side should be another number for the day. Then there should be the letters AZ..

Sounds like jan 1978 wheels. Too early for 1968 wheels.

I think I may be off a little. I forgot in 69 they changed the stamping.

My best guess would be October 17, 1968.

Maybe someone with more knowledge will help out more.
