Looking for engine builder in Michigan

Does anyone here know of anyone in the Lansing Mi, area that has a reputable shop in which I can have an engine built. I am willing to travel some distance to have done but would like to stay somewhat close to home.

I am still looking for someone to build a engine in michigan. The one number I was given is no longer building engines.

It is 5hrs from me but I may have to keep my options open, because I have not been able to find anyone near me..

i just sent you a pm. let us know how it goes. Bruce at Lockwood Performance in Celina Ohio rebuilt my engine and trans 5 yrs ago. did a good job.

I have dealt with C-Tech Performance in Wyoming, MI (Grand Rapids area) and was always happy with his work. He rebuilt the 389 Tri-Power engine in the '64 GTO that I had, and the 327/340 HP original engine in the '63 SWC that I had a few years ago. Last thing he did for me was some headwork on a 396 Chevelle I had.
