Thanks for the post, Gordon. I had a feeling that all was not well in Mudville but without following the details, that was just hearsay, on my part.

Shucks. I didn't have any real issues with Shafi and company but in retrospect, maybe the timing was good when I transacted business with them.

I hope it works out but sad for anyone who was queued up for a trans, trans kit, or components.

Good luck to all involved.

Crud! I just saw this on Facebook and then saw your post. This really messes me up. I was just in the process of asking them for help. I bought a T45-RS, 5-speed from Keisler in 2010 and put it in my 1970 Corvette. Now that I'm swapping my old 350 for a new LS376/480, I need their help in getting the necessary cables or whatever so it will communicate with the LS engine computer. Can anyone point me where to go for help, now?

Not a problem. There are a couple of other vendors selling the TKO transmissions.

I had dealing a with keisler a few years ago and I had good service. I do know their level of service went downhill and heard from other their business practices were not very good. I'm not going to speculate on anything because very few of us hear really know the whole story. It does sound shady though. Hate to see anyone lose any money at all. It was a good product probably mis managed. I installed probably 6 of their units and they all worked well. I did not need a lot of help though. Hopefully the other vendors can pick up the slack of Keisler.

I am not familiar with "D&D", do you have contact information? I am one of the people who had paid for a Keisler transmission.
Thanks,
Dave

Wow, that is quite an unfortunate saga. Had no idea aftermarket transmission business was so cut throat, cloak and dagger.

That's his side of the story , remember that post blames everyone but the company who took hundreds of deposits and then filed chapter 7. He new a long time ago he was in trouble and he continued to take money and make promises, some time ago there was a topic where people where a tad put off with such long delivery dates and he tried to defend himself .

I was then and now one of the few to say his company policy was b/s and I would never order from anyone who needs 4 to 10 months after a deposit to deliver a product.

I feel for those lied and cheated to here on this forum and the many others around the country..

I did my T56 swap about two years ago. Last month I decided to switch from a mechanical speedo to and electronic one. They swapped the tail piece free of charge. Typical of their support.

Too bad they don't list a 6-spd installation kit on their website; on the surface, they look to be a Mustang-only shop.

Wow,

I made a decision a while back between them and another vendor while installing my Ls3/TKO-500. Since I have yet to drive it, I guess I made the right choice.

There were a couple Keisler threads left in C3; I left one open for discussion and new info and I'm closing this.
