Default Seam sealer

Is the SEM seam sealer ok to use in the cab/fender seams?

Yes, unless it says to not use it on fiberglass. Contact the manufacturer if you're unsure. Are you talking about the 2 part sealer or the 1 part caulking tube? If the 2 part, you will need the special gun to use it, but it will be more durable than anything that was used from the factory.

Idk what to use. Mine was cracked so I dug it all out and was curious what was best to use. I'd been looking off and on for something online and in the dye thread I started everyone spoke highly of SEM dye. I search for it and boom there is seam sealer too!

for sealing body panels I have been using tigerseal and it is great stuff! I haven't used it on anything corvette yet but it would be worth a look.

I'm not sure about vettes, but older gm cars used a white latex type caulk, I believe. Any modern urethane based sealant is an improvement.

Thanks for cluing me in to tiger seal. I did some research and a lot of folks swear by it. And it's great for fiberglass!
