I am going to try to install a cruise control on this car that never had one. finding he transducer, vacuum pod and brackets are not going to be a problem, however...the vacuum release valve that mounts above the brake switch is......Those of you who have cruise control..what is used if you can not get the part replaced????? I keep getting the " it does not fit your car" when I look at the one for 82....


A few days later (this happens every time I forget it's a week end, for us retired folks) I did some calling one on one with sales persons at Ecklers. After explaining what I was looking for it was suggested I call Corvette Generation (www.corvettegeneration.com) spoke with Wally. He has 300+ corvettes and lots of parts. He says he inspects each one before selling it, he has been a deal/supplier with Ecklers for a long time. Anyway he has the part I am looking for.
