IT"S LES!!!!

How the hell are ya buddy!

All is well down here in the Southern half of the Great State of California, I'm hoping the same is for you up there in Gods Country. Since that last run up to Sonora you, your wife and that incredible land that you call home has been the topic of many a conversation for me. We gotta get back up there and soon!

Ya know, a guy goes out to his local Rent-a-Vette-Center, takes a C-3 for a few weekends, shows up at a couple local events, trys to make a few new friends and there's always the one guy that can see right through him to call his bluff....Damn it!

Great hearing from you Les!!
Tod, that's a bit more pain than I was intending to inflict- apologies! I'm good bud, thanks! I'm glad things are good there. But there's no need to rent a Vette. I'll drink a few brews with you anyway. You're certainly welcome back here anytime, in any kind of car- even if you are a wanna be. Ooooops, there I go again...sorry.

I'm not sure how many cars (if any) will be heading to S.B. from your direction, sounds like mostly a Southern half crowd.

Last time I heard from Tod....... He was running around looking for a toilet bowl plunger.

I assume that Conrad will be coming, he just has not made it official yet.
Same with K0bra01

Disregard the Denny's comment, anyone who has ever run a distance with cruise master Steve would know what I'm talking about.

I'm in on this one Roland, the mud slinging is the following weekend. If all goes well then, the only things I'll be slinging is rocks, sand and cold beer, I hate the mud wash downs.

You can pick up a used motor and be back in business while building another one over the summer as $$ permits...there's always someone with a spare engine they're not using setting in the garage. If you want to go this route let me know I can ask a few of the resident gearheads here at work...with enough beer we can have you back on the road in a weekend

Count me in. I have been itching to go on a longer drive than my usual Pechanga cruise on the weekend. How about the C&C in Irvine?

Ok that's about a 3 hour drive for you. Did Scott (at the corvette shop) get all your leaks fixed?

Yes everything is good and she's ready to go! It's not the fuel pump but somewhere in the timing chain cover.
