Tod, that's a bit more pain than I was intending to inflict- apologies! I'm good bud, thanks! I'm glad things are good there. But there's no need to rent a Vette. I'll drink a few brews with you anyway. You're certainly welcome back here anytime, in any kind of car- even if you are a wanna be. Ooooops, there I go again...sorry. 
Funniest thing just happened, there I was minding my own business when suddenly I felt a cold knife once again get twisted deep within my soul, a painful tearing feeling, a feeling I would not soon forget, I paused for a moment and thought to myself "I've felt this pain before but where and when".....after a quick check of the forum, sure enough, there lay the source of my anguish, The Phantom Corvette rider strikes again!

All is well down here in the Southern half of the Great State of California, I'm hoping the same is for you up there in Gods Country. Since that last run up to Sonora you, your wife and that incredible land that you call home has been the topic of many a conversation for me. We gotta get back up there and soon!
Ya know, a guy goes out to his local Rent-a-Vette-Center, takes a C-3 for a few weekends, shows up at a couple local events, trys to make a few new friends and there's always the one guy that can see right through him to call his bluff....Damn it!

I'm in on this one Roland, the mud slinging is the following weekend. If all goes well then, the only things I'll be slinging is rocks, sand and cold beer, I hate the mud wash downs.
