Default Stripes....yay or nay?

Hi guys,

I am thinking of striping my daytona yellow 69. Emphasis is clearly on THINKING.

Has anyone got a yellow c3 striped and has some pics to show? Did you decal the car or paint the stripes?

Here's a pic of mine....

Thanks for your help!

I would not . You have a very nice stock looking '69 side pipe car. If you want to change the look of your car how about a set of Torq Thrust or MiniLite wheels ? It would be a lot easier to change back to stock later. Just my thoughts.

Not sure if stripes would do it for me....but it is your call. If you do, use decal so that if you want to take off later....you can with minimal hassle. Just my .02....

BTW....Nice car.

I wouldn`t do it to this piece no more than see yours stripped...I don't think either one needs any enhancement to be noticed anywhere....

if you decide to put on stripes do it with decals. This is so if you do not like it you can always take them off with no damage to the finish of the car.

HOWEVER I never ever get the threads that ask what a builder should or should not do to THEIR car...if you want strips go for it if not don't but it doesn't make one obese rodents rectum of a difference who says what or likes what when it comes to a car they don't own....it's YOUR car build it to make YOU happy....

Default Something to consider

I was told that the oblique angles on the front downslope of the hood wouldn't allow for a straight decal, so that paint was the only way to go.

Also, your car looks very original in the pic, and great the way it is.

Since you asked: I think it looks great the way it is. I would leave well enough alone

Different year, but I really like this and considering a reverse color of this on my white one when I get it painted minus the GS stripes on the fender
