Default Trim Tag Date Codes

I found this list of Trim Tag date codes for the 1968 Model Year... Would this be the same month sequence plus one year for the the 1969 Model Year? I have H27, so would assume March 1969...

A August 1967
B September 1967
C October 1967
D November 1967
E December 1967
F January 1968
G February 1968
H March 1968
I April 1968
J May 1968
K June 1968
L July 1968

...that list omits "M" for August of '68. 1968 Corvettes were made for several days into August of 1968.

What's your consecutive unit number? H is usually March, but that can vary per model year. The last February 69 was #17571. The last March 69 was #20543. If your VIN ends with 17572 through 20543, it was assembled in March, 1969.

March is good. Time/build code is likely to be toward the end of March. 543 was the last one; you're 218.
