I've had an issue with the window sealing on the drivers side when I try to roll it up while at speed. The front window channel roller was toast and would allow the window to flex outward. So of course then it's outside the weatherstrip and won't seal. Temp fix was to partially roll down the passenger side window to create a pressure differential to allow me to roll the driver's side all the way up and in place. So to fix this I order the repair kit (thanks VetteGuy22) and set about doing the repair. I get the window glass out, replace all the bad parts and re install. Now its time to get it all lined up. I go through the procedure and take my time. I get it all lined up and the regulator gear strips. Now I have a replacement regulator on order and the car is parked. No way to secure it as the window can be pushed down an inch. It's always something. At least when I'm done I will have totally rebuilt the driver's side window mechanism
