Hi guys. I figure a few of you have these, or have used them. Any feedback? There are several sizes, and I was considering the 56" two piece ones. Figure it might be better than jack stands all the time?
I have these and they work great for raising either the front or rear as you can drive / back up on these. I just purchased the two piece wheel cribs and love them as they can be used to raise the whole car. I purchased the two piece ones as you can raise the vehicle in steps instead of all at once.

I have a set of the 56" 2 piece Race Ramps, and they are awesome! I love them; I can't believe I suffered for so many years using the typical steel ramps! The Race Ramps do not move at all when driving up them, and the long 2 piece design makes getting a lowered car up them no problem. I liked the ramps so much, I also bought a set of 12" wheel cribs!

I drive up on the ramps and lift the rear at the rear end of the car to place both at once. Once up on the ramps the car is solid and doesn't go anywhere. I removed my transmission using these. Still not enough lift to move the tranny out the side on a jack, but plenty once off the jack. Lots of room to work under the car. The key is the 10" lift of the ramps. I would have liked 12". Should have ordered customs for both pairs. Decide on how much lift you want and check the cost of custom sizes. The storage is great. Race Ramps Storage.
I looked at the other $40 type units, but they are not low profile enough for the 2010GS. Ok for the 1978. If you need to work on one side to remove the tire etc. I would use a 6 ton 18" jack stand and leave the others on the ramps. I felt safe working under these. The wheel cribs are rounded to the tire to prevent the car from rolling. Important when I removed the tranny. You do need a low profile jack to get under the rear / front once the front or rear are on the ramps.
Expensive but I am ok with this investment. Used all winter to work on the 78.
Reverse Logic offers a 12" high Race Ramp that has the same 10.8 degree slope as the 67" long RR-XT-2 ramps. The model number is RLL-78-2. A set of the 78" ramps ships in two cartons.

Where was that model when I order 2 years ago ? I phoned the company to see what models they offered. I missed that one or they did not make them at that time. May sell mine and order another set.
Reverse Logic has been a Race Ramps reseller for just over 4 years. For the last 3 years Race Ramps has been making "RLL" ramp models for me. We now have about a dozen unique RLL models.
The RLL-78-2 ramps have only been available for a few months. Here's a link to a list of the non-standard Race Ramps I offer.
The RLL-80-2 combo service/trailer ramps and the RLL-TR-114-2 dedicated trailer ramps with a 2.6˚ initial incline are two of my favorite designs. The RLL-80-2 combo ramps offer a substantial savings compared to purchasing dedicated service and trailer ramps. The RLL-TR-114-2 ramp has received a lot of accolades from people struggling to load their cars with 2" to 3" of ground clearance onto a trailer.

If you Google the "RLL-78-2" model number you will find that Reverse Logic is the only reseller promoting the 12" high ramps.
Of course, if you don't know the part number, then you don't have much chance of finding the product. So it's not surprising that you have never heard of this ramp model.

Thanks guys. I would use these to work on my 70, and am looking for something that can replace jack stands for at least some jobs. I get uncomfortable sometimes under a car on stands.
