Default Engine Belt Date Codes?

I'm going to be replacing all of the belts on my 78 and I saw on zip that they have the option for chosing the quater of manufacture. How do I know which to specify, is it printed on the original belts?

I guess my question is how can I find out when it was assembled?

Time Built code in the upper right corner of the trim tag. The trim tag is on the driver's door hinge post. Open the door and you'll see the tag.

Do you have a Pace Car? All the PCs were assembled mid March through early May, 1978.

Thank you, yes I have a pace car. Unmolested, grandmother bought it new in 78.

Yeah she is! Before the 78, I believe she had a 74. And my uncle drove a 72 convertable in HS that he still owns.

I forgot, my pap drove 62 as well. Believe it or not he and his father took it hunting in the 60s (don't ask me where they put the spoils).

Ha - my grandmother drove a 78 from the time she bought it until the mid 90's, which I ended up getting in the late 90's. It was *mostly* unmolested, although she wasn't good at keeping oil in the engine - another story.

She also had a 1974 Corvette before that, it was a brown L-82 4-spd.

I know we don't have the same grandma as she only had 1 Pace Car to give away, and I don't have any uncles with Corvettes. (Her brother drove a mid-year, marina blue with gold stripes, for a while).

My dad drove the 74 in high school, I drove the 78 in high school, go figure.

Maybe hunting was a euphemism for something your mom shouldn't know about?
