Not sure what you mean. Are you asking about the neck. Need to know a little more about your car. A/C ? expansion tank?, 69 had an early, mid and late year models with suttle changes. Early models used many 68 parts etc. Fans and shrouds also varied. Fun FUn

It's an early 69 with a 68 front clip. The support is out of the 69 clip. I got the radiator from the. 70 the motor and trans are from. I bought the shroud on the forum doesn't fit. The 68 clip was a non AC with a metal shroud. I would like to use some of the parts I have.

OK mine is early 69 S/B with no AC. Metal shroud is good. should have a 5 blade fan, expansion tank on side, radiator can be alum or brass. To use your parts no need for expansion tank if radiator is already by passing. You probably have a radiator cap. Expansion unit has no cap.

your rad looks like its for a big block and or 350 hp sbc 68 or 69 or an air conditioned car. if it was a 300hp rad the lower neck would be on the side of the tank . 300hp rads use steel schrouds, 350hp use composit schroud. look at Dewitt,s website. I think there are only 2 different core sizes and that will make a difference with the core support. guess size matters. T

You have to work the shroud under the bottom tube first.....

That radiator is GM part number 3018802. It was used on 69-72 SB with automatic transmission. It is real easy to spot one due to the factory dent in the lower tube for sway bar clearence. It is missing the small brass tag that had MI9 broadcast code.
The manual version of this radiator was 3018803 with MK9 tag.

Here is our Direct Fit aluminum version. (note we have dent too)

Since your company suggest to use distill water in your radiator, could you shed some light in regards to distill water usage?

Thanks Tom very helpful. The shroud is still a puzzle to me me but I will have to put some more effort into it. I think it was easier pulling the body. Would I be able to get away with no shroud with your three core?
