In the late 60's my friends and I would go to ******* Carburator and Ignition in Homewood. They used to tune the pro racers going to Oswego and US 30 dragstrips. I have no idea if they or the dragstrips are still there.

anyhow if I have to go to south bend do you have good experience with them?
they found 30+ ponies under my hood. they also have a Dyno Days weekend every summer , it's a small muscle car show, food, dyno pulls. for around $50 they hook your car up to the dyno and do some pulls. pretty cool. actual dyno tuning is pretty expensive, but like I said my RWHP went from 376 to 411 after tuning. T
it was 2 summers ago, rate? $350 + parts. mine ran more because I had a flutter [another technical term] when the secondaries were partially opening under acceleration that had to go. normal shop rate applies, but they worked with me on that. good people. I looked at it this way 'about $20 a HP' that's cheap horse power! T
