Hey all, I recently pulled the annoying buzzer and flasher out of my 76 vette, but while I was working behind my dash I replaced all of my light bulbs.....including the Fasten Seatbelt bulb. I figured, in case I ever wanted to return to original, at least the bulb is already in place. As I keep fixing switches and bulbs and getting them all to work properly, I'm kind of sad to not see the seatbelt warning light not come on, so I got thinking, but here's where I need some help.

Has anyone ever installed, or know of something to install, that would act as a "nicer" replacement for the buzzer/light combo? I'm thinking something has to be out there that would light the bulb and maybe gently ding for a few seconds when the car is started and could plug into the original wiring.....but not sure where to start looking for such a thing?

I got the idea from a forum about the courtesy lights on the 81 or 82 model, how they had a module from the door jamb switch that would dim your interior lights after a few seconds.....got me thinking that I could probably find maybe a flasher that would fit the original slot, light the bulb and then shut off, making more modern and way less aggravating than that constant buzz, lol.

Any ideas or concepts are welcome.
