I saw this on craigslist, its a couple hours away from me has no engine or trans and everything is all over the place but says everything is there. I am digging the back of the car and I due have a parts car and a spare 357 engine that im taking out of my non vette (rx7) and trading the Frankenstein to my friend for some work and a couple of parts, etc. It would move the vette count to four, I need a bigger garage the wife will be mad 3 to 1
The guys asking 3k, its been up a few weeks I just wont have anywhere to put it for another 2 weeks or so. If that wasn't the case I would of drove the 3 hours already

If you can get your storage issue resolved in two weeks, wait. You won't pizz of the wifey (which is a plus moving forward) and I don't think it's going anywhere. Check out www.makoshark2.com you might be able to scare up a tilt nose to match that rear end.

…the car is calling your name. Don't ignore it if you truly want the car. The early bird gets the worm. I bought a '75 Vette barn find a few years ago and I did not have a place to put it. I did not ask for permission, I just bought the car. So where did I put it? Well it went in my neighbors driveway for a few days while they were on vacation and just before they got back I had a buddy give me a hook up and I ended up stashing the car at his church parsonage. I kinda felt bad but I needed to move it ASAP. It worked and then a few months later I had to sell it as I had to move it from the parsonage.
What am I saying? If it is something you like, and it is a deal….take it and then just work out things later. I have even bought cars and parked them in parking lots for a few days at a time and I would just move them around every now and then. Not exactly ideal, but it was the only option. Maybe you have a nice neighbor or two that you can talk to and explain that storing it at their place would just be temporary.
Best of luck, and it would be a cool mako shark clone. It sure has a good start.
I work nights so not on computer that much, update after talking to the guy and seeing its a ny car and no title I didn't bother to take the drive. But you find some funny things on craiglist like this real 1979 maco http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/4442223465.html
