front suspension
I am replacing upper and lower controls arms and springs and shocks I can't get the springs to sit in correctly. please help what am I doing wrong.

Pics would help. Just finished doing all of that. More info also. Why do you think spring is not sitting right.

spring is hitting the frame when I am pushing up on the lower control arm.

Just curious, what type of bushing did you go with?

I bought everything together from a forum member. The bushings look OEM.

The top of the shock
HAS to be in place or else it's a no-go.
I pulled mine apart 3 times before I got it right.
Set the spring in place, put a floor jack on the lower arm.
Hold the spring in place while someone else jacks it up.
You may want to put the shock in so you can use it to judge
if the spring is in the right location. ..... Good Luck.
I've done this a few times on other cars and never had this much trouble.

The car sits great. It is sitting lower then the old suspension did. If someone can send me their email so I can share some pics.
