Window Issues
Hey everyone,
Just wondering:
My driver side window goes up about half way and then just stops going up any further. there is no weather-stripping on that door. The passenger side window goes up about 2 inches shy of the T-top, and there is weather-stripping on the door. I just recently had the car repainted, and i have the door skins off. I am wondering, do the windows just need cleaning, oil, and adjustments? or does it sound like motor issues. Before the car went in for work, they went up better (but not perfect) than they do now. Also, car has a brand new battery.

First is the spring still on the regulator? They rot and fall off. They help with the up motion.
I would clean and spray the track with lubricant.
Chances are they may need adjustment.
They may or may not need motors.
