LOF codes
Can anyone decipher this windshied code from my 73 Vert.
here is whats on the windshield lower right.
shaded
soft ray
safety LOF flo-lite
AS1 Either X11 or XV
laminated
Dot 15 M24
any help would be appreciated.

LOF date codes are made up of 2 letters. Numbers were not used in their date codes.
"X" is the LOF date code for February. "V" would be either 69, or 82. The letter code for 73 was "U", so could what looks like an "11" or "V", actually be a "U"? What are the date codes on the rest of your glass?

"AS 2" ( I know that is for door glass), and "XU" which by your interpretation would mean February of 73 . Both door glass also have the Astro Ventilation script . So would you believe that this is original glass ? I have only had the car for about 2 months. Thanks for your reply. I am detailing the car and hope to have pics up next week. BOLO for a red 73 Vert.
