Default 1982 Power Mirror: Can this be fixed???

This is a picture of what my mirror looks like. It was like this when I bought it. I'm pretty sure this is missing more than just the glass. Is there a backing plate or something? Can this be fixed? If so what do I need? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

When you hit the switch, does the motor work? Do parts move in the mirror

Yes, the motor works when I hit the switch and it moves.

The glass snaps in. There are either 3 or 4 (can't remember) stubs on the glass that snap into spots on the motor. I think I see two in your picture, the black round things. If any of the parts (round black things) the glass snaps into are missing it will need to be fixed or replaces. Make sense?

I'm sure contemporary corvette in PA can help you with parts. You will need a silver piece that looks like a cross that fits into the white plastic piece on the outside mirror. You should be able to fix that.
