Default Cragars on a Bumper Car?

Looking at the "Cragars on 1975" thread reminded me of how much I love Cragar S/S wheels. Not wanting to hijack his thread, I wonder what people think about these wheels on chrome bumper cars. (I know, I know, it's your car, blah, blah ) Just curious what people think in general.

I borrowed a set from a buddy and took a pic of the car with them on there with Radial T/As... I can't decide what I think. What do you think?

The cragar ss will always be one of the best rims available.. They look the best on the black or red cars.. Your NCRS buddies will never forgive you...

Always loved the looks of true cragars... Nothing like the originals! My vette has cragars on it... But that's the rear window louvers not the rims... Lol. If my PO hadn't bought these 18" foose rims, I DEFINITELY would have gone cragars!! Love that look!

my 2 cents worth......I love Cragars and Keystone Custom Classics. those wheels improve the look of almost anything. however.....on a corvette its hard to beat the original wheels....not hubcaps......... original wheels with trim rings and center caps.
there is something about the original wheel that looks " right " on a corvette

Probly also depends what 'generation/era ' you belong to... I'm kind of a youngster (34) and prefer muscle car looks... And am less concerned with 'Originality' over performance... Someone who grew up as a teenager when these vettes were around may prefer the 'when it was new ' look... All a matter of preference and opinion... And ANY way you prefer it, it is still freaking awesome to see these cars on the road!!!

I am on fence about doing it for my black 69 vert.

Some pictures I love and motivates me but others do not. I think the 17 front and 18 rear combo looks better.

I like Cragars on most car. However, on YOUR car, I don't think you'll beat those rallys with red lines, unless you step up to a 17'' wheel.

Why not get the Cragar's for cruisin' and slap the originals on for the real car shows. It really is a toss up but the cragars or torque thrust in 17 or 18 really look good on these cars as well. You have the originals and can do whatever you want or what you think looks good.

I'm not a fan of Cragars. I think they look cheap and tacky. For 5-spokes, AR Torq Thrusts look nice and period correct.

It's tough to top redlines and ralleys on a primo black '69.

On your car, I think the stock wheels look better. I really don't care about someone's car being totally stock or not, just prefer the originals in this instance.

They look awesome! I grew up with Cragar S/S rims on many of my cars. The best looking one was a bolero red 67 Camaro rs/ss that my sister bought new and then gave to me. Wish I still had that one. I have rally rims w/ trim rings & center caps on my '72 right now but sometimes put the wheelcovers on for a change. I'd like to go to the SS rims, but at this point in my life and as little as I use the '72 it would be a waste of money. But if I were 10 years younger..........

Love Cragars.....have had them on my Vette since I first bought it.....also on every previous muscle car owned before the Vette (quite a few). My opinion, every car from the '60s and early '70s looks better with Cragar SS's.

I think they look great on your 69. It was theee wheel back in the day. They look like they just belong there.

You know you want them.

You might as well buy TTII's. They look like they belong on C3's from the factory.

I like the Cragars. I really like the 30 spoke wires. I don`t remember who posted this, but these wheels look sweet. If I was to replace my stock rallys, this is what I`d put on.
