Chrome handle protection
Hey guys,
I recently replaced the handles on my c3 and wanted to keep them in good condition. Obviously, every time I get in the car, I touch the handles so I was trying to think of a way to protect them since they are being touched often.
Has anyone ever put some 3M or Xpel on the handle? Is there any reaction with the chrome and the adhesive with the protection? I was also considering doing this for the ttops since I take those on and off all the time.
Any advice is appreciated.

I wanted to prevent them getting scratches and swirls in them from use. As soon as I take out from the cover dust is getting on it and I start pushing it around with my fingers when I open the doors.
