72 and later Corvette lap belts, had the inertia locks, but I'm not sure about the shoulder belts. I would think that the shoulder belts, would need to have the inertia locks too, to properly restrain you in an accident.

Our '77 shoulder belts have inertia locks, but I can't say when that started. Have to agree with bgvette though - it would only make sense that they do, or they wouldn't really do any good in an accident.

Does anyone know how to find out for sure what it supposed to have inertia locks or not
And how to fix them if broken because the seat belt sets I see are expensive
