I am honored to be participating in Rolling Thunder on Sunday remembering all those who have served, those have made the ultimate sacrifice, and those that are MIA and POW.
As a fellow veteran, I salute you all!
I will take lots of pictures and post them here after the ride.
Happy Memorial Day to you all. Please take a moment to remember all those who have served this great country.
It was a great pleasure to speak with harris1507 (randy) on the phone yesterday. You sounded so close!!!! He is looking so forward to coming home, seeing his family, and starting his corvette. There is a nice surprise that someone gave him that is left in his garage. It is wonderful what some folks will do for our military. Looking forward to seeing you when you get back. Happy memorial day everyone!
Me and my battle Bud's Salute those who support us, and have served. Thanks for remembering. Next time you see a person in a Military uniform walk and say "Thanks". I can't express how much that means to a person in uniform.
Randy,
Get home safely.
I'm planning to move to St. Pete, Fl summer of '17 when I retire from the Police Dept.
You'll have to introduce me to the corvette comunity in Fl.
Semper Fi.
Get back soon.

No Worries, I'm a Jesey Guy, they call us snow birds. Lots of great people down here, plus you got spring traing over there in St. Pete., and we can drive our cars pretty all year with no snow shoveling. Thanks to all PD's and Fire Dept's too.

Just some of the bikes at Whitt's HD in Manassas staging for the ride to the Pentagon parking lot

Some of the 70,000 (our estimate) bikes in one of the parking lots. It took two hours for this parking lot to empty once the bikes started rolling.

The man in the tiger cage. He was in this all day long. Have me a knot in my stomach...

I am doing this post from my phone so I am hoping nothing gets messed up, but I will fix on Tuesday if it does.
The ride was very emotional for my wife and I. She cried the whole time once we passed the Marine that was holding his salute through the entire ceremony.
It was a very special way to remember for us and we will be back next year for sure.
Happy Memorial Day to you all, especially those that are serving our country overseas as you read this.
Our country has changed so much over the years, for the better or worse, depends on who you talk to. The one thing that has not changed is the dedication of our men and women in uniform. They are the best of the best. May God bless all of you and return you to your loved ones safe, sound and soon. May God also bless and comfort all of the families of the soldiers that have given their live's to allow us to argue if our country is better off or worse today. I hope everyone has a thoughtful Memorial Day.
