Default Astro ventilation vacuum line

I've been working on my astro ventilation vents. I got them all restored and they work great with a vacuum pump. As I was testing the line from the dash to the actuator in the back, I found that I had a bad leak. The steel line that runs down the console and behind the passenger seat was rusted to almost nothing. It's very tiny steel line. Does anybody have a source for this or some sort of steel line from another application that will work? Thanks for any help.

How about a brake line? All the auto parts house have then in 4' lengths, easy to bend with a brake tube bender. Mine dose not have this system so not sure what the thickness is.

Thanks, the tubing size outside diameter is around 1/8"- 3/16". Very small. It fits inside the smallest vacuum hose.

Good idea, I found some on eBay from a hobby seller. And it's stainless.

I do pneumatic controls for a living, you can buy some soft 1/4 or 5/35 copper as previously stated or you can just pick up some black 1/4 or 5/32 poly tubing adapt with some brass fittings and bob's your uncle.

I found a 6' piece of stainless the right size for about $11. Mine looks like it was the original one, it was made in 2 pieces with about a 6" hose connecting the metal lines behind the seat. It wasn't copper because it was rusted so bad it just fell apart when I removed it. I'll post again when the one I ordered comes in and let you know how it went.
