Dash screw... VIN?

Also, is that the controls to the flux capacitor where your radio should be?

Hpoz, how do you gauge your speed?

EDIT: was there a prize?

All three on the drivers side pad are missing? Anyone else with the missing screws?

Is this on the 5-star bowtie?

Perusing the C3 Registry, all other 21,000+ have the screws, as well as #1 of '72 (of course I cannot speak to originality of any of them).

Yep, it's the LT-1,

The only clue I have is a dealer service receipt from 72, for a bad bulb on the drivers side dash? Perhaps the dealer swapped out the entire cluster? Everything in the interior is aged exactly the same!

This why I posted, checking if anyone else had an issue with theirs when the car was new?

I was going to say the screws, but didn't know if that was the original dash. It's in very nice shape.

Interesting. All dashes had those screws, I am not sure a replacement would have been any different.

Was there any notation on your scoring sheet? Granted, this wouldn't provide an explanation.

Pete,
Yes, there were deducts for flight ( I opened my mouth on the DB prior, lol)
, and the corresponding line on interior failed.

I agree it's odd, the one and only PO is deceased.... I once asked his brother but he said "who knows it was just his every day car"!
