Ac noise

Hey everyone I just charged up my 76 it was pretty low if not empty compressor kicked on after we added straight gas
I added one can of refrigerant with oil also
But now it sounds crappy and rattling
Please help John

It's almost Like the belt starts to run less true when it kicks on
There is a plate on the end that seems to be on with metal tabs that make it springy
That seems to be where the noise is coming from

It seems to run real tough at idle but sounds better with throttle

What kind of freon did you put in it and what kind of freon is it supposed to take?

It had been retrofitted for the new stuff r134 in 99 that's what I put in think its still a tad low but cooling ok just running rough at idle
