My steering is rather loose and before anyone else suggests something other than adjusting the gear box, lets just assume that it's the problem.

I've read up on how to adjust it, and it seems to be a touchy thing which if over done can lead to permanent damage. Would some of you Tampa Bay area guys trust the guys ate Performance Powertech to do the job? Or are they mostly familiar with newer vettes and this might be rather alien to them?

 

It's really easy to do, just take a 5/8" wrench (almost 100% sure it's a 5/8"), and a flat screw driver, adjust it a little, go for a ride, adjust, go for a ride etc...
