Default Power tour

We made it home for power tour without issues. We just did the one leg from Bettendorff to the dells. Overall it was great. The high part for us was driving through small towns and having the folks all lined up on the streets watching the parade of cars. Low would have to be waiting for hours in stop and go traffic to get into the dells and have the show almost over by the time we got parked. But the weather was great and the car ran well. We could not get any internet in the dells and our gps was acting totally goofy and we wanted to get on the road. So I saw some guys with Iowa plates and they said to follow them and they would get us home. That was pretty cool. Will definitely do it again, but I don't know how the long haulers do the whole thing and then drive home. Hats off to those folks.

Leaving Iowa.

Nice little car show at the gas station

Parked in a cool spot josh found in Bettendorf.

So the car got a good shake down and now has over a thousand miles. A few things to work out but it held together and got us home, so I would call that a success. I would have liked to have met more folks, but time was short and next time I will know how to plan it out better.
