Default new door panels

You would think the holes for the door panels would be their for the price that they charge. Has znyone done this? And what size drill bit do I use.

I used an exacto razor knife. Worked perfectly.

A drill will gather up the vinyl covering and tear it. Use a sharp blade to cut through the vinyl, then a series of small low-speed holes through the ABS backing, and finally a blade to cut the bridges between the holes. Finish off with a file.

Default How Peterbuilt it...

I agree with the above, use an exacto knife to carefully trim the vinyl and foam from the door pull area. You don't have to cut through the black plastic.

The door pulls are secured with machine screws, the home depot sells a 10-24 tap and #25 drill set. Install the door panel so that the lock hole is centered and drill and tap the 2 holes and attach the handles now.

At the lower front and rear attach the lower door clips.

The top inside screws, front and rear are sheet metal screws might be #8 but I can't remember for sure. They need upholstery washers.
The door panel hangs on a lip at the top of the door and it holds it flush so I left off those two screws.
