Just curious, does yours have the CEC components currently? I may have spelled the acronym wrong, its the emission components, one mounts to the drivers side of the carb.

You have the "Combined Emission Control" or CEC acronym correct for 1971 only. What's your question about the system? Maybe, I can help?

It seems the number for the 4 speed is for a '71 GMC truck
How do you figure? It is possible that Rochester Qjets with those numbers were also used on GMC trucks, but according to a source I consider to be generally reliable (The Corvette Black Book) those were the numbers on Qjets originally installed on 1971 Corvettes with 454/365 hp engines.

Best be prepared to wait several years for the correct carb with appropriate date to show up unless you get really lucky. Be aware also that rebuildable cores sometimes go for $750.
