GOT SO EXCITED ABOUT THE 1972, I ALMOST FERGOT MY BABY! This is my 1981 that I bought from my bro-in-law in 2006. She had 86k miles and had been tarped and parked in FL for 7 years after moving from OH. 8 years and umpteen $$ later, she has fresh paint, low vacuum (cam a little tall?) and still smokes riceburners even if she does have a 273 rear! 94k miles now runs 14.8 at 91 in qtr, still lifting in 2nd gear. Gimme a 1/2 mile and who knows? Okay, okay....my 53 year old reaction time was 0.92 but what the heck? at least I was double staged. My engine guy won't tell me more than 425+ hp, 2400 stall with shift kit, and this is after the trip to the strip. He also never gave me a bill, so there! She needs some TLC on interior and vacuum, but has never let me down, although she may be jealous of the new 1972 BBC 4speed. Who knows? Here she is,....my sweetheart!
She is afraid to drive her. Her older brother "grinned like a girl: When he drove her to high scool.

I still think for her to pick out seat covers for you shows she LOVES that car... and she won`t always be scared to drive it! She`ll surprise you someday!
