It's a nice option, but pricey. With the amount I pay in CA DMV fees every year you would think they could give us a break on the price.
I may just stick with the current ones I have for safety reasons, since they also act as a reflector. It be kind of cool if they would reflectorize the legacy plates also.

I think these are reflector type to meet current standards.
I liked the idea in the beginning but lately Ive been having my doubts. Looking at the form it seems like it might be tough to set the characters up to emulate a actual blk/yellow plate, font looks different and reflective would be a no go with me. Looks like I will go the YOM plate route again.
