That would be great. I'm not sure how to get it any closer. Unless I start reaming holes in the stainless trim peaces. Then the top of the weatherstrip wouldn't even come close to the chrome corner pieces.

Hey sorry for the delay, I am at work so the free time is limited. I will help as much as I can. Here are some pictures that I took/ had.
I was just adjusting the T top gaps, and that took a lot of work.
Hope this helps.
BTW yes it was wrecked, but is now in recovery. It is being restored now.
Mine looks like the white car with the red interior. I love the orange color!!!!!
Thanks, it was all original 49,000 miles, paint, spare with factory stickers, interior, tank sticker, protect plate, etc. Then it was sadly in a wreck and I opted to save it. Anyways I hope this helped you some.
Just put my window trim back on yesterday and it has a gap similar to what is pictured... not huge, but it doesn't cover the frame the way it should... I like the idea of using the foam to fill in the gap, I may try it on mine for grins.

I probably will give mine a try as well. Is there a product out there or will this just be a homemade item?
BTW…what part of ETX are you from, if you don't mind me asking?
They make some round/black foam used to seal (home) windows available in different diameters... It's cheap and available at hardware stores... probably about .50 per foot cost.
I'm gonna pic some up tomorrow when I go into town.

That's all it is. Quick and simple, and gives it a little more of a completed / finished look to it.

That is cool, I live in Tyler. My boss lives out in Canton. Her father in law is a Corvette guy. Well it sounds like something worth experimenting with then.
