Anti theft not working

Anti theft not working

My brother has a 1972 LT1 he bought new and his anit theft alarm does not work. He tells me his open door buzzer does not work all the time just ever now and then. Is the door buzzer alarm tied to the anti theft device. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The key warning buzzer is not tied to the anti-theft, but the door jamb switches and hood switch are.

Horn died 10 years ggo most likely, the system has its own horn. Behind the drivers side rear wheel I think. Get on there with a test light, the door jamb and hood switches give it a ground.

i got a face full of dirt when i tested mine,
removed the wires and connected a 12v battery straight to it,
it made a slight murmur, i tapped (read HIT) with a hammer handle, dirt fell out.
was slightly louder, so i tapped it again, was slightly louder still, so i tapped it again,
then it just spat a crap load of dirt all over me....
works fine now after i fixed a broken wire on the drivers side switch.

Where is the relay located. I think my first move would be to check horn like riverracer did and then move to door and hood switches. Thanks for the help
